Meetings
Occur bi-monthly and include guest speakers from various professions and walks of life. Information about upcoming programs and events is also discussed at the meetings.
Retreats
The Fall Retreat is aimed at building the new Fish Aides' leadership skills. It is also a great time to get to know the other people in Fish Aides. However, Spring Retreat is geared more towards building personal leadership skills and strengthening the relationships that have already been started.
Committees
At the beginning of the year, each Fish Aide is paired with a Student Government Committee (i.e. COSGA, Big Event, Legislative Relations, etc.) that he/she will work with throughout the year. This opportunity gives the Fish Aides firsthand knowledge of the inner workings of Student Government.
Office Hours
Fish Aides serve as the unofficial "Face of SGA" while working at the front desk. They answer the phones and greet everyone with a 'Howdy'.
